Africa’s women, like its land, are unique. From
Tanzania’s many cultures come many different faces
and forms- but all of them are beautifully African.
Our work African Beauty is a photographic
compilation and tribute to the stunning femininity
of Africa.
Kanga
Wrapped around Swahili women like a second skin,
Kanga are the vibrant traditional fabrics endemic to
the East African Coast. The printed Kiswahili
sayings found on kanga can almost do the talking for
you, espousing everything from wisdom in life and
love to warnings against gossip and even provoking
